New Mexico :: 36" X 73"
"Chaco Canyon is my most favorite place to paint in New Mexico.
The energies, the views, the night skies, the history, the buildings, the canyon walls—
all contribute to magnificent paintings done in the campground.
I usually spend two to three days camping, meditating and hiking before completing a canvas.
I did this one during the Equinox weekend. As usual, the campground was full
so an RV parked across the way in a tent spot and ran its generator constantly on a very windy day.
I was camped under my favorite and the only cottonwood in the area.
It has since been cut down for no reason.
