"I had been told there was a beautiful green on the back road from Norwood to Gateway. I love exploring and just followed several dirt roads into the back country crossing over several dry creek beds. When I looked up from my painting I saw the sky had darkened and I only had a short time before the dry streams became flooded. I always laugh when I look at this painting remembering the race back to the paved road."
